British Vintage Stereoscopy

Welcome

Welcome to British Vintage Stereoscopy - a website all about...well, stereoscopy from the UK in the 20th century. Lots of stereo views will appear here, as well as articles on the viewers originally designed to view them. The Collection Index at the top of the page lists all viewer articles on the site so far; while the All Views tab will list uploaded stereo view sets for each viewer, with links to each, if you just want to check out those. More and more scans and articles will be added every few weeks. The latest updates to the site are listed here below.

Feel free to get in touch. Feedback is always welcome and if I’ve missed anything out or even got something wrong I am always happy to hear from those in the community who have better information. I’m also happy to talk to anyone who feels they’d like to contribute an article or scans (or both).

If you enjoy the site - why not subscribe to the accompanying SUBSTACK NEWSLETTER? This summarises all new additions to this site in an occasional email - with a link to the full articles here, as well as anything else stereo related that doesn't quite fit on the site. Alternatively, just bookmark or add this site to your favourites and remember to stop by regularly and see what's new.
